As we head into the Festive Season, we celebrate a busy last quarter of 2021 for Rohde & Schwarz. Today, broadcasters are looking for technology partners that are here for the long haul, and that can help them adapt to a changed media landscape by bringing in greater flexibility, scalability and futureproofing to their media operations. We are proud of our track record and the way we have consistently met customers’ real world needs in an increasingly competitive and dynamic market.

Software defined cloud broadcast workflows

Rohde & Schwarz and ATTO partner to optimize Ethernet adapter capabilities for macOS

We have  joined forces with ATTO Technology, Inc., a global leader of network, storage connectivity and infrastructure solutions for data-intensive computing environments, to optimize the new generation of ATTO 360™ Tuning, Monitoring and Analytics Software, as well as ATTO ThunderLink® N3 3102 and NS 3252 Thunderbolt™ adapters for use with R&S®SpycerNode. Now, macOS customers – in addition to Linux and Windows users – can more easily connect to the SpycerNode media storage solution, benefitting from a significant performance enhancement, without the need for additional PCI slots.

Filmhouse turns to Rohde & Schwarz CLIPSTER for 2021 Edinburgh International Film Festival

The latest version of our R&S®CLIPSTER mastering system has been supplied to Filmhouse. Scotland's leading independent cinema, Filmhouse is the home of the annual Edinburgh International Film Festival, which was established in 1947. The team at Filmhouse relies heavily on CLIPSTER to create Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs) of shorts during the festivals, to create film scans and put together marketing stings.
