MCC Prismon

Rohde & Schwarz adds powerful centralised control for R&S®PRISMON Multiviewers

Distributed multiviewers now benefit from highly flexible i/o and automation control for rapid turnaround implementations. We have added Multiviewer Control Centre (MCC) to PRISMON Multiviewers, increasing still further the power and productivity of the platform. MCC enables a single point of control for a network of multiviewers, which can be automated, giving instant reconfiguration of multiple displays.

Be slow and steady in your transition to the cloud

This month FEED magazine spoke to us about transitioning to the cloud, and how the pandemic has sped up that process, plus how the shutdown of many facilities has meant workarounds using internet technologies outside the bounds of SDI or IP gold-standard ST 2110.

The article continues to explore what is happening as society emerges blinking from the cave and whether we should take time to plan our next steps. Perhaps there should be no blind rush towards technologies that don’t fit our financial or business goals. In short, take a deep breath in and out. There’s no need to panic.
